# Getting a Project Estimate

Use this endpoint to check if Taskrabbit services are available in a given area and to display estimated pricing on your product or checkout pages.

**Overview**

The Estimate API returns service eligibility and a price estimate for a given address and service item.\
Partners can use this to verify Taskrabbit coverage before checkout or show “Available in your area” messaging.

**Why it matters**

Confirms Taskrabbit coverage before a customer reaches checkout

Enables dynamic “Available in your area” or “Service unavailable” messaging

Reduces friction and cart abandonment

**Notes**

You can call this endpoint using either a postal code or full address.

An estimate is not required before creating a Bid or Booking.

Use this endpoint to power your product detail page or cart-level availability checks.
